The weather may not have been great, but it was a warm and sunny atmosphere inside Pentyrch Village Hall on Saturday for the Horticultural Show. Entries and visitor numbers were up, and there was plenty of competition in all the classes. Needless to say our allotmenteers did well – Jack and Martin won trophies in the vegetable section, while Glynis, Alison, Sue, Gill and Lesley all took prizes in the cookery, craft, art and floral sections.
Well done to everyone that took part.
If you didn’t enter anything this year, make a note in your diary for next year and have a go – there are plenty of classes to show off your talents in either the garden, greenhouse, kitchen or studio.
